Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Maxim Pekarev, or “Dr. Max” as he is known to patients, is a specialist in breast, body, and facial procedures. His goal is to provide positive, natural-looking change that helps people feel fantastic about their appearance. Men and women rely on him for treatment because of his skill and low-key, patient-centered approach.


Education

Dr. Max earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He finished his general surgery residency at Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly MCP/Hahnemann) and trained for three more years through a highly prestigious plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Professional

Dr. Max spent several years serving patients at the Center for Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery before establishing MP Plastic Surgery, his private practice. He currently performs surgery and has hospital privileges at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB, and Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest. He also has privileges at Baylor All Saints, Plaza Medical Center, Fort Worth Surgery Center, and Plaza Day Surgery Center.

Personal

Dr. Max’s family emigrated from the former Soviet Union to the U.S. when he was 14. He attended Princeton University as an undergraduate and was a 4-time All-American athlete, winning the NCAA Saber Fencing Championship in 1996. This feat speaks to his skillful precision and thoughtful approach to his work. Dr. Max lives with his wife and daughter at their Fort Worth home.
