Factors That Affect Breast Augmentation Settling
There are several different factors that affect how long it will take for your breast implants to take on a more settled appearance following a breast augmentation. Some of those factors include:

You may have heard about the dropping and fluffing process as it relates to breast augmentation surgery. This is just a fancy term describing the process of your implants settling. Once your muscles begin relaxing following your surgery, the implants will drop into more of a natural position. Once this happens, the implants will fluff under the muscle and fill out the lower part of your breast. So if it seems like your implants are sitting higher on your chest than you’d like, just know the dropping and fluffing process hasn’t begun yet and you’ll start noticing a difference soon.
Your Patience Will Be Rewarded
When you’re excited about your surgery, it’s understandable to be a little impatient. However, I tell all of my patients that it will take some time to see the final results of their breast augmentation. Just like it took time or a certain change to your body for your breasts to look different, it will take time to get them back to how you want them to look.
