Silicone vs Saline Implants

Shaped vs Round Implants
Another feature that will increase the price is whether or not you get “shaped” implants. Most patients are familiar with the circular Round type of breast implants. But silicone implants also come pre-shaped, most often in the shape of a teardrop to resemble the natural shape of the breast. These shaped implants will cost more than a traditional round silicone implant.
Small vs Large Implants
However, one factor that will not impact the cost of an implant is its size. The implant manufacturers charge a flat rate for a pair of breast implants. So a pair of C cup implants will cost the same as a pair of D cups. This is true for both saline and silicone implants.
